Giloy is the powerhouse of antioxidants and is a rejuvenating agent too. It helps your body to keep your cells healthy and getting rid of diseases by fighting the free radicals that enter your body. Giloy’s antioxidant properties remove toxins from the kidney and liver. It also purifies blood, removes bacteria that cause urinary infection. It has also been found to treat heart-related conditions and infertility by many experts.

Giloy has antipyretic properties. This property can reduce the symptoms of severe recurring fevers like Malaria, dengue, swine flu, and chikungunya (the viral disease caused by mosquitoes). For a female who has excessive bleeding during her menstruation cycle or if one is bleeding after abortion or after delivery of a baby, giloy juice extracted from its leaves can be given to the patient to improve the condition.
